DAWSON is helping to keep Hawaiʻi’s community nourished with a donation to the Chef Hui x Aloha Harvest #FeedthepeopleHI initiative. This collaboration has helped provide meals and ingredients to more than 1,200 people across  three Native Hawaiian communities: Waiʻanae, Waimānalo, and Papakōlea.

In April 2020, Chef Hui x Aloha Harvest also gave away 1,000 bags of food to unemployed residents of Oahu who have been affected by the economic shutdown. The food bags contained ingredients and a recipe card for Chef Gooch’s ʻono (delicious) kitchen sink stew.
